Hello!
I am Clotilde, a London-based freelance film critic and entertainment writer. I am passionate about anything in the film industry and have experience working on professional film sets and in theatre.
My long-lasting passion for storytelling is visible in my work as an aspiring producer and writer. I am also the winner of the 2023 Marlborough LitFest Love Books competition
A Little Bit About Me:
I was born and grew up in Italy before moving to London for university in 2018. Writing and working in a language that is not my native one is a challenge but one that I face with ease and am now used to. My love for film began at a very young age when I watched a film in the cinema for the first time, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and had to physically leave the cinema due to the emotions it caused me.
My passion for films truly sparked with franchises like Hunger Games and Harry Potter, but I only fully explored it during my BA in Film Studies at King's College London, which allowed me to study abroad at UCLA where I took screenwriting and production classes. After graduating with a MA in Global Media Industries from King's College London, I started working in film production and entertainment journalism, while developing a further understanding of film movements and trends.
